The AG-702 is a versatile and industrial-grade IoT gateway built on an OpenWRT environment. It offers dual 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports, built-in 4G LTE connectivity (dual SIM), Wi-Fi, and GNSS (GPS, BDS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS), making it suited for mission-critical applications.
Its rugged design includes opto-isolated RS-485 and RS-232 serial ports, two opto-isolated digital inputs, and one relay output, allowing integration with legacy equipment or PLCs over Modbus RTU or TCP. You also get a USB host for storage or serial adapters, plus fourteen configurable LED indicators for status signaling.
In terms of routing and communication, the AG-702 supports a wide range of network protocols (TCP, UDP, IPv4/IPv6, NTP, DNS, HTTP(S), FTP, MQTT, Modbus, etc.) and advanced VPN tunneling (OpenVPN, WireGuard, IPsec, SoftEther etc.). A built-in web UI and CLI make configuration easy, while Atra-RMS enables remote device management.
The gateway runs OpenWRT 23.05 (kernel 5.15.71) with 256 MB RAM and 64 MB + 512 MB (overlay) storage. Its MediaTek 580 MHz MIPS processor enables seamless integration of custom Linux applications (Python, C/C++, Java, PHP, etc.). Power input is wide (8–48 V DC), with reverse polarity protection and passive PoE support (spare pair). The rugged aluminium housing supports DIN rail mounting and operates in extreme industrial temperatures (–20 °C to 65 °C).
